The climate in Morzine
Located in the Rhônes-Alpes region in the east part of France, this city is well-known for its ski resort of Avoriaz. It has a population of 2 900 inhabitants. Surrounded by panoramic mountains view, Morzine is a great place for summer sports such as caving, walking and mountain biking. It has also been the host of the Tour de France on many occasions. This high mountain area has a distinctive climate with heavy precipitations and cold temperatures. In winter the lowest temperature gets around -5°C and the highest temperature in summer won’t exceed 25°C.
