The lowest temperature on record was -13.5°C in December 1981.

A town in South Yorkshire, England, Doncaster is often referred to as “Donny” and has a population of 302,402. The town is built on the site of a 1st century AD Roman fort. Visitors can tour the 12th century Conisbrough Castle. The town’s principal museum is the Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery. Doncaster is well known for its nightlife with many popular bars and clubs. The town has a maritime climate. Thanks to its location in the Don Valley, summer temperatures are similar to those in South East England.
