Ipswich, situated in the county of Suffolk in East Anglia, is one of England's oldest towns. It has a maritime climate with a narrow temperature range. Found on the estuary of the River Orwell in Suffolk County in the East of England, Ipswich has a population of 133,384. As one of England’s oldest towns, Ipswich played an important role under the Roman Empire and during Anglo-Saxon times. Today, it is home to a number of artists and galleries as well as the Ipswich Museum and the Ipswich Transport Museum. The town has an oceanic climate like most of England.
