Situated on the coast in Dorset in South West England, Weymouth is at the mouth of the River Wey on the English Channel. With a population of 52,400, Weymouth is a popular tourist resort thanks to its harbour and attractions. It is also a gateway to the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Popular attractions include its beaches and coast, museums such as the Brewers Quay and Nothe Fort, and the aquarium. The climate in Weymouth is temperate.
