Run by the University of Oxford, Harcourt Arboretum is located just outside of Oxford and is open to the public for a small fee(children are free). You can either picnic in the shade of the 10-acre woodland or in the 37-acre flowering meadow. You might even stumble across one of the peacocks that roam the grounds. Be sure to visit the nearby Botanic Garden as your entry ticket gives you access.
