Rhossili Beach

Located in the village of the same name in Wales, Rhossili Bay features a 3 mile long sandy beach that is backed with sand dunes, making it an amazing backdrop for your picnic. The best time to go is during low tide so you can access the small tidal islands. During these times, you can also see the remains of several shipwrecks. If you have a Doctor Who fan in your family, they will love the fact that they are standing on the beach that was used for New Earth in an episode of the series.
