The climate for Inverness

Situated at the mouth of the River Ness and at the southwest of the Moray Firth in the Scottish Highlands, Inverness has a population of almost 58,000. It is found near two important battle sites: the 11th century battle of Blàr nam Fèinne and the 18th century Battle of Culloden. Today, Inverness is a fast growing city known for its quality of life. Like much of the British Isles, the climate in Inverness is an oceanic one with cool summers and rainfall year-round. The average high temperature in the summer is around 19°C. In winter, the high temperature is normally around 5°C with lows near -1°C.
